All families are invited to come along and celebrate the Growing Deadly Brains® project with Bek Martin and Rhi Parsons on Wednesday 9 September from 2.30-3.30pm at the front of Deception Bay North school. Growing Deadly Brains® is a First Nations-led initiative that brings together and honours cultural knowledge and neuro-knowledge.

Last week we celebrated the magic of books and reading as part of Book Week! Our students enjoyed dressing up as their favourite characters. It was wonderful to see so much creativity and enthusiasm throughout the school. A big thank you to our students, staff and families for making Book Week such a memorable week! 🌟📖

We are very excited to welcome some adorable new baby chickens to our school, the littles both just this weekend! 🐔

Our students are going to enjoy watching them grow, learn how to care for them, and discover all about the life cycle of chickens. They are certainly going to keep everyone smiling with their fluffy little feathers and curious personalities!

We can’t wait to watch our little chicks grow and become part of our school community. 🌱🐣

Your student can either return these to the library in their class borrowing time or pop into the library and return them.

Summer has performed brilliantly at the Regional Athletics Carnival in the running events.
She is now off to States in October in the Multi-Class Division.
We are all so proud of you, Summer.

Gabriel, Azaiah and Alex have been completing at the Regional Athletics in the Multi Class Events.They have been receiving ribbons in 100, 200, 800, shot put and discus.
Gabriel and Azaiah have qualified for States in October.
A super effort by all 3 boys!!!

Congratulations to Amity for her outstanding efforts at Regional Athletics.
She competed in long jump (best jump 3m72) and High Jump (cleared123cm and attempted 131)
