The Brigade is very excited to see the recent progress towards our much-needed new station.

Thanks to Golden Plains Times for taking the time to speak with us about this critical initiative. Our sincere thanks also to Michaela Settle MP and CFA District 7 Headquarters for continuing to champion our cause.

Morning all. You may see our members and fire trucks driving around the greater Dereel and Corindhap area this morning.

Training today is about expanding our knowledge of roads, infrastructure and other features by completing an old school orienteering truck rally. No better way to reinforce your local knowledge than by getting out in the local area.

Please be mindful of us on the roads. There will be no live fire or simulations. This is all about map reading and quiz questions.

We hope you have a good day, if you see us out and about, don’t be afraid to say hello.

We were again proud to participate in today's ANZAC Day ceremony at Rokewood, helping with traffic control and joining the march.

Thanks to Brian from the Rokewood RSL (pictured) for inviting us each year.

A quick note to advise the Fire Danger Period will end at 0100 on Monday 13th April.

Until then, all current restrictions apply.

A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Central, Wimmera, South West, North Central and West & South Gippsland fire weather districts for Tuesday 17 February 2026.

No fires can be lit, or be allowed to remain alight, in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM.
