The Platinum Pool Program recognizes aquatic facilities that consistently demonstrate excellence in pool safety, operations and customer experience, meeting the highest industry standards through rigorous, independent assessments.

🏆Award Winner!🏆

A huge congratulations to Nillumbik Leisure's Betty Anderson, who was the recipient of the Most Valuable Employee Award at the 2026 Aquatics and Recreation Victoria Awards on Friday 12th June.

Betty has been encouraging Nillumbik's Active Movers to stay fit, healthy and connected for over 42 years. Betty teaches 7 classes a week across Eltham Leisure Centre, Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre and Community Bank Stadium.

However, Betty is far more than a group fitness instructor. She is a defining figure in the lives of many older adults and the driving force behind a thriving, connected and engaged community across our centres. Her genuine care and passion for healthy ageing make her an incredibly valuable part of Nillumbik Leisure, the broader Aligned Leisure organisation, and the community she so strongly supports.

As the season comes to an end, we want to say a huge thank you to all our members, families, and visitors who made this season so memorable.

We’ve raised over $1000 in our Laps for Life campaign so far this year!
A huge thank you to Eltham Tri Club for making a splash as part of Team Nillumbik Leisure by clocking up an incredible number of laps and helping raise funds for ReachOut and their vital work supporting youth mental health.
Eltham Tri Club delivers the Tuesday and Wednesday swim squad sessions at Eltham Leisure Centre. These sessions are included as part of your membership and are a fantastic way to build skills, fitness, and connection in the water.
Let’s finish Laps for Life strong! Join Eltham Tri Club at Eltham Leisure Centre for their end-of-season race as we wrap up the campaign - 4pm, Sunday 29th of March. Come along for a few final laps and help us make an even bigger impact!

Today we are celebrating our awesome employees Chris and Devyn on World Down Syndrome Day💙💛
Chris has been a valued part of the Aligned Leisure team at Eltham Leisure Centre for over 6 years. His friendly nature, warm smile and positive energy make a real impact on everyone who walks through our doors.
Devyn joined the team at Community Bank Stadium over 4 years ago, and now also enjoys shifts at Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre also. He enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of facility operations and is always eager to engage with the community - especially shooting hoops with anyone keen to join him.
If you see Chris or Devyn around the centres, make sure you say hello. đź‘‹

We’re soaking up the last of the sunshine at Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool, but as we wind down for the season, there’ll be a few planned maintenance closures.

🛠️ The pool will be closed on:
• Thursday 12 March
• Thursday 19 March
• Thursday 26 March

With only three weeks to go, now’s the time to sneak in those final swims, enjoy the warm weather, and make the most of the season 💛

Update - The Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool will remain closed today Saturday 7th March. Our team is continuing to work on the issue. Thank you for your continued patience.

The Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool is currently closed due to mechanical issues.
Our team is working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, and we’ll provide updates as soon as more information is available.

Surprise! The first round of Get Active Kids Vouchers are LIVE!
Thanks to the Victorian Government, your child could be eligible for up to $200 to support their involvement in sport and recreation activities, including Swimming Lessons at Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool, using provider code 3675656 .

In this latest round, applications for a voucher or a reimbursement will close on the 2nd of April 2026 or when the vouchers are exhausted - so get in quick!
Once issued, you’ll have until 29th April 2026 to redeem your voucher with us which can be used for costs such as membership and registration fees, uniforms and equipment for affiliated sports.

Financial support is available through two funding streams:
1. Reimbursement for costs already paid
2. A voucher towards future costs not yet paid
