Many know that Wanderer Mead is deeply inspired by history. The Anglo Saxon poems the Wanderer and the Seafarer have been important. This short video pays a small tribute to them.

Cooking with MEAD. Not just for drinking. This pie was inspired by Medieval English pies. There is Stewing Beef, Apples, Cinnamon and Allspice along with Onions and Celery and Bacon. Salt and pepper as well. Hot water pastry for the casing. Bloody delicious. I wish you were here. The Mead used was our Honey Blackberry liqueur. This added massively to the richness of the filling supporting the fruity Apples. One to make again...

Happy New Year from Wanderer. A fantastic start to the year at Launceston Beerfest. We sold out! Thanks to all who came to see us on the night. A particular shout out to those who joined Stephen for the Mead Master Class. Wassail.
