𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙪𝙨 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙁𝙡𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙤𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 ✈️❤️

This year, the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA is on a mission to raise $1.6 million by Thursday 14 May. These funds will directly support 274 aviation, clinical and ground crew, enabling them to complete 4,442 hours of essential training to operate the new PC-12 PRO aircraft joining the fleet.

Every dollar donated on or before 14 May will be DOUBLED thanks to generous matched giving partners — meaning your support will have TWICE the impact.

Why does it matter?
In 2025 alone, RFDS retrieved an average of 29 patients every day across Western Australia, flying more than 9 million kilometres to deliver urgent care.

Closer to home in the Midwest:
• 1,866 patients retrieved in the past year
• Around 5 patients transferred every day
• Including 166 children under the age of 15

Their work is vital in keeping regional and remote communities connected to life-saving care. 💙

PUBLIC NOTICE - ADVERTISEMENT OF DRAFT LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH PLAN 2026-2031

The Shire of Irwin has prepared a draft ‘Local Public Health Plan 2026 – 2031’ and public comments are invited.

The draft plan is available for inspection at the Shire Administration Office at 11-13 Waldeck Street, Dongara which is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm or can be downloaded from the Shire
of Irwin website at https://irwin.wa.gov.au/draft-local-public-health-plan/

Submissions on the draft plan may be submitted to the Shire of Irwin in writing on or before Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
