CRAWFORD PS REPRESENT

This week I was at the Secondary Rugby State Championship tournament in Wagga Wagga and bumped into our 2020 Boys school captain, Sione Tuipilotu.
Sione now at Hills Sports High was captaining the Sydney West side. They were undefeated throughout the week until going down narrowly in the final 15-14. He showed his amazing leadership both on and off the field.

We have noticed an increase in squish toys [including dumplings] being brought to school recently. While these toys are fun and popular, they can cause distractions during learning time and we have been getting multiple reports of these getting misplaced, swapped or lost.

We kindly ask families to keep these squish toys at home to avoid any further upset.

Team Crawford strikes again! Today some of our students participated in the AFL Gala Day 2026 Indigenous Connect Charlie Mundine Cup. They had an amazing time, showed true sportsmanship and displayed our school values with pride. 🏉

A few more photos from yesterday’s Gala Day!

Our boys basketball team made it all the way through to the grand final and lost by ONE point in overtime. Our girls made it all the way to the semi finals and lost by ONE point after 15 minutes of overtime. What an amazing achievement by both our teams! We are all so proud of you!!
Crawford you are winners in our eyes for never giving up. A huge thank you to Mrs Blaxland for organising the event and for giving our students the opportunity.

🎨✨ Our amazing Stage Three students have been busy creating stunning mixed media artworks! Each piece is filled with symbols and imagery that represent something meaningful and purposeful to them. It has been incredible to see their creativity and stories come to life through their art.

Parents are warmly invited to come and view these wonderful artworks after school, which are currently on display near the Breakfast Club side of the library. We are so proud of our students’ thoughtful expressions and unique perspectives.
