1) The Mornington Peninsula Greens stand by the principles of Ecology, Democracy, Social Justice and Peace – the four pillars of the Australian Greens as outlined in the Charter. We seek to advance and intelligently sustain the rural/maritime environment of the region andaim to pursue these goals through participation in the parliamentary system and in

2) From the sea coast to the green wedges, from the wetlands to the villages and towns, the Mornington Peninsula Greens stand in solidarity with informed residents to preserve the integrity of this bio-diverse region. Our story is a political one that seek parliamentary representation to advance all that is best about this region in a sustaining way for both people and nature.

3) The MPG is a grassroots movement that promotes understanding and advocacy for the social, political and the lived environmental issues that impact on our region. We seek to cooperate and engage with like-minded individuals and community groups on behalf of a rational and holistic approach to the major issues we face in the 20th century. We believe this advocacy could best be served by seeking to represent this community in the houses of Parliament.
