Evening Dungog,

We have just had a severe weather warning come through.

Severe thunderstorms will bring possible damaging winds and heavy rain over the next several hours. This could change at short notice and SES in monitoring the situation.

Please stay safe and don’t drive through flood waters. Please do not park under large trees, tie down loose furniture and trampolines.

If you need assistance call SES 132500 or in emergency 000.

03/06/2026

Morning everyone, as you would be seeing around the shire the winds are picking up and after the rain last week the ground is soft. Please do not park under trees and make sure all your outside tables chairs and trampolines are either put away or tried down. The last thing you would want is having to go down the street to get your gear back from a neighbour’s place.

Be safe and keep an eye on the weather.

31/05/2026

WARNING

Glen Martin Road Blocked by an extra large Gum tree which has fallen across the road near Black Camp Creek Road.

SES onsite and council on way to cut up and remove.

Drive safely and keep a lookout for vehicles with hazards on.

UPDATE

Dungog Council is onsite and is cutting it up and removing from the road. The road will still be closed for awhile yet. Find other ways around it.
Stay safe

30/05/2026

Afternoon, as the rain goes away this does not mean that we won’t see our creeks and rivers still flowing. So if the road is flooded don’t drive through it. We don’t know if the flood water has done any damage underneath and you may be washed away. Turn around and find another way round.

We have seen the sun out and the winds are picking up. Please take care and don’t park under a tree the ground is soft and there is a chance trees may fall.

Stay safe and if you need assistance call SES on 132500 or in an emergency 000.
