Did you know despite being famous for marsupials Australia is home to over 60 native species of rodent?
Many have been impacted by habitat loss, predation from cats and foxes and competition with introduced rats and mice, but many species are still found around our homes and gardens like this adorable swamp rat

The Warrnambool Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the KidFEST school holidays program on Pertobe Road Warrnambool, which is a great event that offers arts, crafts, science, music, woodwork, dance and wildlife encounters for children aged between 2 – 10. A great time was had, thanks to the organisers and supporters of the event.
