🚒🔥 BURNOVER DRILL – IMPORTANT TRAINING 🔥🚒

Dunolly Fire Brigade would like to congratulate Wooragee Rural Fire Brigade on their amazing video demonstrating an Entrapment Drill (Burnover Drill).

We are sharing this video because this training is extremely important for the safety of our firefighters when operating on the fireground.

A burnover is a situation no firefighter ever wants to face, but knowing what to do, what to listen for, and how to respond quickly and correctly can make all the difference.

Training like this ensures our firefighters understand the procedures, commands and actions required to protect themselves and their crew should an entrapment situation occur.

👏 Well done to Wooragee Rural Fire Brigade on putting together such a great demonstration and helping reinforce this important safety message.

🚒 Train together. Know the drill. Look after your crew. Stay safe. 🔥

🚒❤️ A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR DUNOLLY COMMUNITY! ❤️🚒

Dunolly Fire Brigade would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone in our wonderful community who continues to support our brigade through our can and bottle collection. ♻️

Every can and bottle donated might seem like a small contribution, but when they all add up, they make a big difference to our brigade.

The funds raised help us continue to support our members, purchase equipment and put money back into our brigade so we can continue supporting the community when we’re needed most. 🚒🔥

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who saves their cans and bottles for us, drops them off, or helps spread the word.

💙 Every can counts. Every bottle counts. Every little bit helps! 💙

Thank you, Dunolly, for continuing to get behind your local fire brigade. Your support really does mean a lot to us.

Can you pick the fire dangers in this nursery?
Many of the everyday items we put in our bedrooms - young children included - can pose a fire risk to you and your littlest ones.

Check electrical items, don't overload power boards, have working smoke alarms and keep items that can be a risk away from the little hands in your house.
