BURRA BITES

Over the past three weeks, Burra Bites has been a busy place. Our students have been actively preparing a range of delicious meals, including sausage rolls, carbonara, and shepherd's pie, for students who require lunch to enjoy.

A big thank you to our wonderful Connect students, who have risen to the challenge each week, even when numbers have been low, they have shown dedication, teamwork, and resilience, always finding a way to make it work.

ESC BIG FREEZE - Friday 5th June

ESC will be hosting our very own Big Freeze on Friday 5th June to raise awareness for FightMND.

The Big Freeze is a special moment of celebration that pushes motor neurone disease (MND) into the spotlight. It’s our signal to the world that the fight to find a cure is on!

We encourage all students and staff to wear their Big Freeze beanie if they have one.

YEAR 10 BUSINESS & ECONOMICS SHOWCASE

On Tuesday June 2nd, our Year 10 Business & Economics students presented their small business concepts at our showcase event. Students had to pitch their ideas to visiting staff, including their logos and marketing, and answer questions about their target audience and product or service. We had a variety of concepts including food and drink, tourism, landscaping, software, retail and fuel delivery. Well done to the students for a great effort in presenting the concepts they have been working on all term. Prizes will be awarded to the group that received the most staff votes in Friday’s class.
