Don't forget to order trees before Thursday to make sure you don't miss out! Plenty of Tallow woods and Grey Gums left to reserve. See you there! 🤠🌳

Macleay Landcare will be hosting a koala feed tree giveaway for the region on Thursday, the 11th of June, from 2 – 5 pm at the Macleay Landcare office (42 Rudder Street East Kempsey at “the stables”). We will be supplying Forest Red Gum (limited), small-fruited Grey Gum and Tallowwood. This is a great opportunity to replace any trees that may have died during floods, drought or fires, or to think about planting strategic areas, such as along riparian zones, fence lines to form shelter or wind breaks or as biodiversity corridors to benefit remaining wildlife.

Macleay Landcare requires people to order trees by filling in this order form; https://form.jotform.com/261367728948070 . If you’d like more information, get in touch with our staff at 0458 945 586. Trees will be available in trays for ordering in multiples of 5 with a minimum order of 5 and a maximum of 40 trees per person. We have limited trees available, so get in quick! 🤠🌳

🌏🌱 Healthy landscapes and resilient farming systems go hand in hand.

This World Environment Day, the global focus is on climate action - not just reducing emissions, but rethinking how we manage land, water and natural resources for the future.

The NSW Government's North Coast Local Land Services is helping farmers build resilience, improve sustainability and adapt to a changing climate.

🌾 Supporting productive farms
💧 Protecting soils and water
🌿 Strengthening biodiversity
🐝 Building healthier landscapes for future generations

Climate-smart agriculture is about practical actions that support both production and the environment.
