🏆 Year 9 Debating Team Achieves Second Consecutive Win! 🏆

Rosehill Secondary College is proud to celebrate the outstanding success of their Year 9 Debating Team, who have secured their second consecutive victory in the interschool debating competition.

What makes this achievement even more impressive is that this was only the team's second experience in competitive debating

They are especially proud of Year 9 international student Jordan Shah, who contributed confidently alongside his peers. Jordan’s success highlights the strength of the International Student Program and reflects the inclusive and supportive learning environment at Rosehill, where students from all backgrounds are encouraged to participate, connect and excel in co-curricular opportunities.

Student Showcase – Innarah from Bundoora Secondary College

Meet Innarah, a 2025 graduate from Bundoora Secondary College who actively participated in the school community as School Captain and House Captain amongst other leadership roles. She was also highly involved in planning and running fundraisers, celebrations, and whole school events during her time at the school.

Additionally, thanks to her dedication to her studies in subjects such as Maths Methods, Biology, Literature, Chemistry, Physics and English, she is now studying a Bachelor of Biological Sciences at Ta Trobe University.

The 2026 Victorian Global Learning Awards brought international students, schools and families together for a morning of celebration, live music, morning tea, photos, speeches, and every nominee recognised for the contribution they've made to their school and community.

It was an inspiring day filled with passionate, talented, and driven individuals, and we were proud to recognise the incredible achievements and contributions of this year’s cohort.
