🎶 Limelight Concert – Dress Rehearsal! 🎶

Today, our Choir headed to Penrith Panthers for their dress rehearsal ahead of tonight’s Limelight Concert! 🌟

The students sang beautifully and showed fantastic enthusiasm throughout the rehearsal. We’re sure all of our families attending tonight will thoroughly enjoy their performance! 🎤✨

A special mention to Ms Gaudry, who is part of the Limelight production team and is leading our sopranos in their performance. We are so proud to see our students sharing their talents on such a wonderful stage!

A huge thank you to Ms Gaudry and Mrs Pettigrove for all their hard work, dedication and commitment to our Choir throughout the year. Your support has helped our students shine! ❤️

Today we celebrate Primary Principal Appreciation Day and recognise our wonderful principal, Mrs Heywood.

Mrs Heywood is a supportive, dedicated leader who genuinely values our students, staff and wider school community. Her kindness, encouragement and commitment to providing the best opportunities for every student make Eastern Creek Public School a fantastic place to learn and grow.

Thank you, Mrs Heywood, for everything you do. We appreciate your leadership and all that you bring to our school each day.

Today we celebrated our Public Education Week Open Day, and what a fantastic day it was!

We began with a whole-school assembly showcasing the incredible talents of our Choir and Djembe groups, along with highlights of the many wonderful achievements and experiences our students have enjoyed so far this year. We also celebrated student success by presenting our Athletics Carnival certificates and Positive Encouragement Awards.

Following the assembly, our classrooms were opened for families to join their children in a range of engaging learning activities. It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers sharing in their child’s learning.

The celebrations continued with a picnic lunch, while our Year 6 students held a cake stall to help raise funds for their graduation. Students also had a fantastic time enjoying the cricket inflatable, kindly supplied by Cricket NSW.

Thank you to all of our families who came along to celebrate Education Week with us. Your support and involvement help make our school community so special. We had a wonderful day and loved sharing it with you!

Today, our talented Choir and Djembe groups proudly performed at Mt Druitt Westfield as part of Education Week celebrations. 🎶🥁

Our choir gave the audience a special preview of one of the songs they will be performing at the Limelight concert next week, while our Djembe group impressed everyone with their energy and rhythm.

Our students did a fantastic job representing Eastern Creek Public School with confidence, enthusiasm and outstanding behaviour. Well done to all of our performers! 🌟
