Glen Huon Primary School is an Independent Public School located in the suburb of Eaton. Our moral purpose is to Nurture Excellence and Empower Growth.

We are a level 5 Kindergarten to Year 6 primary school with just over 500 students.

Foodbank WA 💜🍞🥫
Foodbank WA is committed to supporting individuals and families who may be experiencing food insecurity. Members of our school community can Find Food Support in their local area, or apply for direct access to Foodbank. The Mobile Foodbank service visits nearly 50 locations every week, making it easier for families to access low-cost groceries.

🦋Today was and our admin team got the sweetest surprise 💐

A member of our school community dropped off a care box for us. Snacks, notes, little treats - all of it made our busy day feel lighter. Feeling appreciated like that means the world.

And it wasn’t just us! Our students got in on the kindness too. They took part in activities all day - writing thank-you notes, sharing compliments, and doing little acts of kindness for each other and staff.

Ahlias Kindness Day is a day in which we want to promote and encourage compassion, thoughtfulness and consideration of others, all whilst raising money and awareness for RUN DIPG. We’re so proud that together we raised over $488.75 for RUN DIPG as part of the day. That’s kindness with real impact.

To everyone who showed up with kindness today - families, caregivers, students, staff - thank you. You reminded us why this community is so special.

Kindness really is contagious. Who are you paying it forward to today 🦋💛

National Simultaneous Storytime 📚
On Wednesday, 27 May, we took part in National Simultaneous Storytime, one of Australia’s most beloved annual reading events, bringing together millions of children, families, libraries, schools and early learning centres to share the same story at the same time right across Australia. This year the story was "Luna Roo."
Mrs Ross read the story in the library, with classes joining in via Microsoft Teams. We also had some very talented staff members acting out parts of the book as the story was read!

Kindergarten 2027 Enrolment Applications Now Open! 📚🏫
Applications for Kindergarten enrolments for 2027 are open! If your child turns 4 years old before 30 June 2027, you are invited to submit an application to enrol. You can find enrolment information and application forms on our website https://www.glenhuonps.wa.edu.au/enrolment/ or collect physical forms from the administration office.
Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee placement. Families will be notified of the outcome, and successful applicants will then be invited to complete enrolment forms.
Applications close 24th July 2026.
