Join us for a fun-filled morning celebrating books, stories, the Assyrian language and creativity! 💙
👧🧒 For children and families

Come along for a morning of fun activities including:

This is a pilot Book Week activity by the Ashurbanipal Library, aimed at encouraging children to enjoy books, creativity and our Assyrian language in a fun and welcoming environment.

📚 A Special Thank You to Robert Oshana 📚

The Ashurbanipal Library (ABL) would like to sincerely thank Robert Oshana for his generous donation of three of his books to our library collection.

Robert has made an outstanding contribution to the preservation and sharing of Assyrian literary and cultural heritage. Through his Assyrian Library online, he has created an extensive collection of digital books, audiobooks and other valuable resources, helping make Assyrian literature, history, language and culture accessible to people around the world.

At ABL, we are also working to digitise and preserve materials from our Assyrian collection and explore ways to make these resources more accessible globally. The Assyrian Australian Association (AAA) and the Ashurbanipal Library are delighted to acknowledge the generous donation of six Assyrian children's books and one Assyrian cookbook by Rinyo.

Rinyo has become well known within our community for creating high-quality Assyrian books that inspire children to learn and embrace our language, culture and heritage. Through beautifully illustrated stories and educational resources, Rinyo is helping to ensure that future generations continue to speak, read and cherish Assyrian.

These wonderful additions to the Ashurbanipal Library will provide families, educators and young readers with valuable resources while also enriching our growing collection dedicated to preserving Assyrian history, literature and language.
