Recently, the parents of Chan Nam, a Vietnamese student attending UTS College, paid a special visit to his Australian homestay host, Antoinette, to personally thank her for the care and support she provided their son during his stay.
The meeting was warm, genuine, and emotional. Antoinette’s kindness had clearly made a lasting impact—not just on the student, but on his entire family. What began as a simple act of appreciation quickly blossomed into a connection that crossed cultural and generational lines.

This week, our newest student attending UNSW from the UAE, Hamad, arrived at our wonderful host Ina’s home — and he came bearing the sweetest gestures of gratitude: a stunning bouquet of fresh white blooms and a box of fine Lindor chocolates. It was a touching welcome moment that left Ina smiling from ear to ear. As one of Study Vision’s treasured “super hosts,” Ina has opened her home and heart to overseas students for many years, and this thoughtful gesture reminded her just how rewarding hosting can be. Feeling appreciated and valued, Ina is more inspired than ever to continue supporting international students, creating a warm and caring environment where they can truly feel at home.
