The successful applicant must possess sound previous experience and competence in the inspection and testing of:

- Portable Fire Equipment

- Fire Alarm Systems

- Evacuation Systems

- Sprinkler Systems

- Fire Pumps

- Exit and Emergency Lights

- Fire Doors

The successful applicants essentials:

- Ability to work unsupervised

- Excellent communication skills

- Self-motivated with an outstanding work ethic

- Currently hold a Police & DCSI Clearance

Certificate or can obtain immediately

- Current Australian drivers licence

- Legible hand writing

- Processing paperwork efficiently

- Meet varying deadlines

- Computer Skills

- Work flexible hours and overtime

- Drive a manual vehicle

- Must be a permanent Australian Resident

- Knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding suburbs

- Great team player

- Professional personal presentation

Favourable advantages but not limited to:

- Certification in testing CPP20511 Certificate II

(8 Modules)

- Competent using general Hand tools / Power tools

- Current White Card

Conventional-collective systems are generally the most cost effective option and are normally seen in such areas as strata title buildings, smaller commercial offices and industrial sites.

They are essentially simple switches that are either "on" or "off". They cannot distinguish between a real fire and the various non-fire phenomena that can trigger an alarm such as to***co smoke, dust and steam. Up to forty detectors can be installed on one circuit and, whilst they can indicate an area or zone where an alarm has been triggered, they cannot indicate a specific location in that zone.
