QCUP 2026 | GIRLS AFL – WHAT A TEAM!
What an incredible couple of days for our Elanora State School girls AFL QCup team, competing on the Sunshine Coast on Friday and Saturday! Our girls represented Elanora with immense pride, playing in the true spirit of the game and demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork and determination throughout the competition.

They hunted the ball, backed each other in and put on an absolute DEFENSIVE MASTERCLASS! Holding FIVE teams scoreless across the competition is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to the girls' commitment, discipline and effort.

UNDEFEATED GROUP CHAMPIONS!
Our girls won every scheduled pool fixture across Day 1 and Day 2, finishing on top of their group ladder and showcasing the quality of our team.

Their defensive efforts on Day 2 were particularly impressive, not conceding a single score across their four matches!

COMPETITION MVP – MACY MOANA
A huge congratulations to Macy Moana, who took home our team's MVP award for the competition! An outstanding achievement and well-deserved recognition.

While the results speak for themselves, what makes us most proud is the way our girls conducted themselves on and off the field. They showed respect for their opponents, supported their teammates, embraced every challenge with determination and had fun in the process.

A massive thank you to our coaches, families, supporters and everyone who helped make this experience possible. Your support means so much to our girls!

You have made Elanora State School incredibly proud!

We are very excited to announce the commencement of the Year 5 / 6 toilet block refurbishment project. This upgrade will be another great addition to our school. Once completed, it will mean all of the major toilet blocks will have been upgraded in recent years. Please note that due to workplace, health and safety requirements, the walkway in front of the toilet block will be closed during this time. We look forward to announcing additional improvement projects over the coming months.
