THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! 2 Days to go!
Join us on Saturday, 16 May at 11:30 am for a community Walk-a-Thon in support of the African AIDS Foundation, starting and finishing at the Camden AH&I Hall, Camden Showground.
Note: You don’t have to walk to come along for the event, there will be stalls, a sausage sizzle, fairy floss, and refreshing lemonade for everyone to enjoy! 😆
Walk for hope, health, and community spirit.
The walk will take participants along the beautiful Miss Llewella Davies Pioneer Walk before returning to the show ground.
And as you may have seen across our social media a little bit of Africa has made its way to Camden… the animals have been out and about! Their next stop is Walkathon 🐘🐅🐃🦓🦒
So why are we having this event?
Open to all ages, this event is a fun and meaningful way to make a real difference. Every dollar raised goes directly to helping disadvantaged children in Africa affected by AIDS.
Our mission is to create a better future for African children and youth, with a focus on those who are orphaned or vulnerable due to the impacts of poverty as a result of HIV/AIDS.
The African AIDS Foundation exists to support grass roots projects in South Africa and Kenya. AAF is run by volunteers who are passionate about bringing change to the lives of children who are facing a bleak future without help. Our overheads and operating costs are covered by generous supporters, which means every dollar you give directly funds projects in Africa.
Looking forward to seeing you all on May 16th, Meet on the showground side of the AH&I Hall and step out for hope, health, and community spirit!
Thank you in advance for all your support and thank you to our sponsors🤍
