🔥🔥 COMMUNITY EDUCATION DAY 🔥🔥

Come on down to our Donnybrook Station on the 26th July from 10 am to 1pm, we would love to talk to you about getting ready for the fire season.

We will have lots of information for you, including a Fire Safety Guide, Escape Plan, understanding the Fire Danger Rating, travelling during High Fire Risks and much much more.

Free BBQ, Soft Drinks and Water.

Bring the kids down for some fun. Bushy will also be paying a visit.

Our Community Education day aligns with RFSQ week which runs from Sunday 26th July to Saturday 1st August 2026.

Today was a difficult day for all who knew John Blake from Clear Mountain RFB as we said goodbye to part of our family.

First Officer John Blake was well respected by all who worked with him and by the community. He dedicated 15 years of service. After joining in 2011 he soon took on the role of secretary and 2nd Officer in 2013 until 2020 and then became the First Officer until his passing.
John was also appointed Deputy Fire Warden in 2015 before he took on the role of Fire Warden.

Our thoughts are with John's family and his brothers and sisters of the RFS.

R.I.P. John you’ll be sadly missed by many but never forgotten. Thank you for your time and service..🚨🔥🚒👨‍🚒🚨

ANZAC DAY 2026

Yesterday our brigade attended the Anzac Service at Beachmere.

Was good to see so many people turn out again this year. The rain held out long enough for the service to complete, which was great.

Thank you to all our members who represented the Pumicestone brigade to participate in the march and service.

Thank you also to the Beachmere RSL sub branch for the invitation to join again this year. Looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Last night we had our voting AGM. Thank you to all those who attended and voted.

Also thank you to those who have held the positions either as an officer or in the committee over the past 2 years. Your efforts has not gone un-noticed and we appreciate all the work you have put in as a volunteer to support the brigade.

Congratulations to those who were voted in either as an officer or in a position within the management committee.
We know you will do a great job and continue to improve the brigade as we move forward.

A big thank you to our paid staff Neil and Lachlan who came to assist with the voting process, we really appreciate your time to attend and your support.

✨️ Well Easter is nearly upon us and Bunnings Big Fish are having their free Easter Family Night on the 26th March from 5 to 7 pm.
Come on down with the kids for some free activities and fun.

Yes, we will also be there with a couple of our appliances and lots of information you can take home so you are fully prepared for the fire season.

Our friendly team will show the kids how we fight fire, have a go on the hose and get some cool photos.

Why not bring the family down, we would love to see you. ✨️

Thank you Meldale and Donnybrook community, Yesterday's Santa Run was fantastic.

Really good to see so many come out to wave and the kids loved seeing Santa.

We paid a special visit to Chrys Barker and presented him with a care bear with his name on the back of his hat. Good to see Chrys outside to greet us. Thank you Barker family for the gift of goodies.

Thank you also to Ariana Doolan for being Santa's helper on the sleigh and also to the Donnybrook Sports and Community Centre for supporting us.

Merry Christmas to all. Have a safe holiday season. See you all again next year.
