πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ PROUD AND DEADLY AWARDS πŸ’ͺ🏿

At Euabalong West Public School, we are incredibly proud to be a majority Aboriginal school, and we love celebrating the achievements, culture and identity of our Aboriginal students.

Yesterday, a number of our students travelled to Griffith to attend the annual Proud and Deadly Awards, where they were recognised for their achievements and successes. πŸ†πŸŒŸ

It was a fantastic day of celebration, bringing together students, families, schools and community to recognise the wonderful achievements of Aboriginal young people across our region.

We are incredibly proud of all of our award recipients and the way they represented Euabalong West Public School. Congratulations! πŸ‘πŸŽ‰

πŸ’œ WEAR IT PURPLE DAY 2026 πŸ’œ

In NSW public schools, we are proud to be places that welcome, support and celebrate everyone.

Wear It Purple Day is an important opportunity to celebrate and show our support for LGBTQIA+ students, families and staff, and to make sure everyone knows that our public schools are places where they are welcome, valued and belong. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

At Euabalong West Public School, we are celebrating Wear It Purple Day today by wearing plenty of purple and taking part in activities focused on inclusion, respect, diversity and belonging.

A big thank you to all of our students and staff who are wearing purple today and helping us show that everyone has a place at EWPS. πŸ’œ

We are proud to be a school where everyone is encouraged to be themselves and where our differences are respected and celebrated.

Everyone is welcome. Everyone is valued. Everyone belongs. πŸ’œπŸŒˆ

πŸŽ‰ Kindergarten Celebrates 100 Days of School! πŸŽ‰

Our Kindergarten students reached an exciting milestone today as they celebrated their 100th Day of School! To make the occasion even more special, our wonderful Year 1 students joined in the celebrations and helped their younger classmates enjoy a fun-filled day.

The students participated in a range of exciting 100-themed activities, including creating a 100-link paper chain, decorating colourful 100 Days crowns and glasses, and working together to complete a 100 Activities Challenge, ticking off each activity as a class.

There was plenty of teamwork as the students built a 100-cup tower, before the Kindergarten students had the exciting job of knocking it down! They also worked together to construct a 100-block tower, demonstrating excellent cooperation and persistence.

To finish the celebrations, everyone gathered to enjoy a delicious 100 Days cake before taking turns to break open a colourful piΓ±ata filled with sweet treats.

It was a fantastic day celebrating our Kindergarten students and everything they have achieved in their first 100 days of school. We are incredibly proud of how much they have learned, grown in confidence and embraced every new challenge along the way. Thank you to our caring Year 1 students for helping make the day such a memorable and enjoyable celebration for everyone!

Excursion to Condobolin
Our Kindergarten and Year 1 students and Brooklyn recently enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Condobolin, filled with fun, learning and adventure!
The day began with a bus trip to Condobolin, where the students enjoyed morning tea at the beautiful Gum Bend Lake before burning off some energy with a play at the nearby playground.
Next, the students visited the famous Utes in the Paddock, where they explored the unique sculptures, walked around the site and admired the many creatively designed utes. Everyone enjoyed discussing their favourite ute and sharing what they liked most about each one.
After a busy morning, the students headed to Thorpey's CafΓ© for a delicious lunch. They were treated to chicken crackles and chips, followed by a refreshing milkshake, which was a big hit with everyone!
Our students had a fantastic day creating special memories, learning about the local area and spending time together outside the classroom. They represented our school with outstanding behaviour and should be very proud of the way they conducted themselves throughout the excursion. Well done, everyone!

πŸ•οΈ 3–6 Borambola Camp – Day 1 Part 2!

The fun has continued right through the afternoon and into the evening!

One of the biggest highlights of the day was hitting the BMX track, where students couldn't wait to jump on the bikes and put their skills to the test. There were plenty of smiles, encouragement and excitement as everyone challenged themselves and cheered each other on.

Dinner was another standout! The roast beef dinner was such a hit that it received a unanimous chorus of 😍 emojis from our students – always a good sign that everyone is well fed and happy!

To finish off an action-packed first day, students took part in a hilarious 'Minute to Win It' challenge. With teamwork, determination and plenty of laughs on display, the competition was fierce from start to finish.

A huge congratulations to 'The Bros' – Sonny, Dustin and Tyler – who claimed the overall victory! πŸ†πŸ‘
What a fantastic first day at Borambola! We can't wait to see what Day 2 has in store.

πŸ•οΈ 3–6 Borambola Camp – Day 1!
Our Years 3–6 students have had a fantastic start to their Borambola Sport and Recreation Camp adventure!
After leaving school this morning, we stopped in Temora for a well-earned morning tea before continuing our journey to Borambola. Once we arrived, students settled into their cabins, unpacked their bags and got ready for an exciting few days ahead.
Lunch was a hit, with everyone enjoying delicious sweet chilli chicken wraps before heading off to do some orienteering. Students worked together to navigate the map, find markers and begin building their teamwork and problem-solving skills.
We can't wait to share more highlights from camp over the next few days!πŸ—ΊπŸš™
