🔴Upcoming Fire Permit Suspension🔴

The RFS is suspending fire permits in the Wentworth Shire Council and Balranald Shire Council Local Government Areas from 11:59pm Friday 12th of December until 11:59pm Sunday 11th of January. If you currently have a permit and are burning please ensure it's fully extinguished prior to the suspension taking effect.

During hot, dry and windy conditions, such as we are experiencing now, fires can start quickly and spread rapidly. Given the time of year, we want our members to enjoy this time with their family and friends, not to be out responding to fires across the district. It only takes one small error, and that error can lead to a major incident within our community. The annual decision to suspend fire permits is nothing new and has been made in order to help keep the local community safe from bush and grass fires over the festive period.

*Serious penalties, including fines and/or imprisonment, can and will apply for starting a fire without a permit during the Bush Fire Danger Period.*

Hello Everyone

Santa will be arriving in EUSTON on Wednesday the 24th (Christmas Eve) at 5pm 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Santa will be visiting houses giving lollies to all the adults and children 🍭 please make sure you stand outside so Santa and his helpers can see you 🎄

Santa will be in the fire truck 🚒 so make sure you can see the lights and hear the sirens 🚨

We will start in Euston and make our way out to the farm houses 🏡

Roads and Streets we will be on are:
