🔥 Total Fire Ban – Central Zone (including Eynesbury) – Tomorrow, 4th February 🔥
Just a reminder to everyone that a Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Central Fire Weather District, which includes Eynesbury, tomorrow, 4th February.
This means:
⚠️ No open-air fires
⚠️ No solid-fuel BBQs or fire pits
⚠️ No burning off
⚠️ Be extremely careful with machinery and anything that could spark
With the hot and dry conditions, it’s important we all do our part to keep our community safe. Please stay vigilant, look out for each other, and report any signs of smoke or fire immediately.

An Extreme Fire Danger Rating has been forecast for tomorrow, Wednesday 4 February 2026, for the Central, North Central and Wimmera forecast districts. Take action now to protect your life and property – fires will spread quickly and be extremely dangerous.
A Total Fire Ban has also been declared for the Central, North Central and Wimmera forecast districts. This means no fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air in these areas.
