🚒 Training in Progress at the CFA Station 🚒

Over the next month, you may notice flames and flashing lights coming from the station, along with additional fire trucks from our neighbouring brigades - please don’t be alarmed. This is part of our planned training exercises designed to keep our crews prepared and ready to respond when it matters most.

Big night for the brigade tonight as we welcomed our first Junior member to operational training. Straight into it, she joined our newer members on the tanker and didn’t miss a beat. It was great to see the confidence, enthusiasm and willingness to learn from day one, exactly what the future of our brigade looks like.

Our Juniors program is all about building skills, teamwork and leadership while giving young people a real insight into what we do. Nights like tonight show just how valuable that pathway is, not only for the individual but for the strength of our brigade moving forward.

Well done on your first night! we’re looking forward to seeing the journey ahead.

What an incredible result!

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our community, Eynesbury has achieved a record-breaking year, raising a phenomenal $46,333.83 for the Good Friday Appeal!

Every single dollar goes toward helping sick kids and supporting the life-changing work of the Royal Children’s Hospital. This result simply wouldn’t be possible without each and every person who donated, supported, or got involved.

From all of us at Eynesbury CFA — thank you for showing what community spirit is all about. We are so proud to be part of such a generous and caring town.

The funds raised through the Good Friday Appeal help provide life-saving equipment, world-class care, and vital support for sick children and their families. It’s about giving every child the best possible chance.

A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Central, Wimmera, South West, North Central and West & South Gippsland fire weather districts for Tuesday 17 February 2026.
No fires can be lit, or be allowed to remain alight, in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM.

🔥 Total Fire Ban – Central Zone (including Eynesbury) – Tomorrow, 4th February 🔥

Just a reminder to everyone that a Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Central Fire Weather District, which includes Eynesbury, tomorrow, 4th February.

This means:
⚠️ No open-air fires
⚠️ No solid-fuel BBQs or fire pits
⚠️ No burning off
⚠️ Be extremely careful with machinery and anything that could spark

With the hot and dry conditions, it’s important we all do our part to keep our community safe. Please stay vigilant, look out for each other, and report any signs of smoke or fire immediately.

An Extreme Fire Danger Rating has been forecast for tomorrow, Wednesday 4 February 2026, for the Central, North Central and Wimmera forecast districts. Take action now to protect your life and property – fires will spread quickly and be extremely dangerous.

A Total Fire Ban has also been declared for the Central, North Central and Wimmera forecast districts. This means no fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air in these areas.

Fire Danger Ratings are forecast using Bureau of Meteorology data up to four days in advance, but can change on the day. Therefore, it is important to check the Fire Danger Rating for your area every day and know which rating is your trigger to act.
