🎓👕 Mount Marrow State School Uniform Expectations 👕🎓
At Mount Marrow State School, we take pride in presenting ourselves in a way that reflects our school values and community spirit.
With the onset of cold weather meaning students must have jumpers at school every day, we thought we would remind all families of our student dress code.
All students are expected to wear the complete school uniform and present in a neat and tidy manner at all times, including when travelling to and from school. Maintaining these high standards helps our students represent themselves and our school with pride.
Everyday Uniform
✔ Official Mount Marrow State School Polo Shirt
✔ Black shorts/ skort
✔ Black shoes
✔ White socks
✔ Black or purple hat (legionnaires, bucket or broad brim) or the MMSS black/red or black/blue reversible bucket hat
Year 6 Students
⭐ Year 6 students may wear the current year's senior shirt.
Winter Uniform
✔ Black tracksuit pants
✔ Plain black jumper or black zip-up jacket
Additional Approved Items
✔ Mount Marrow Way armbands earned during the current year
✔ Black stockings or tights under the uniform
✔ Black or purple beanie, scarf and gloves during winter (outside the classroom)
✔ Sunsafe rashie (long-sleeved preferred) for swimming lessons
If your child is unable to wear the correct uniform
Please provide a note, email or phone call explaining the reason. A signed note in your child's diary, shown to their teacher at the start of the day, is the preferred option. These arrangements are intended for temporary circumstances rather than ongoing exemptions.
