The girls Touch Football Team played Nareena Hills in the third round of the PSSA Knockout Competition, which sadly ended in a loss. The girls played so well and put up a tough fight for their opponents. We are so proud of their determination and enthusiasm for the game. Making it to Round 3 was an incredible achievement!

Hannah and Ted represented our student body at the Wollongong SRC Meeting this morning at Lindsay Park PS. They networked with leaders from other local primary and high schools, discussing leadership scenarios and future goals.

Athletics Carnival 2026 🏃🏽‍♀️
It was a shame that we needed to cancel events for Under 6, Under 7 and Banksia yesterday but it was a relief to proceed with the other age groups so that we can determine our team to represent our school at the Central Wollongong District Athletics Carnival coming up next term. Congratulations to all students who participated and a big thank you to Mrs Diamant for her wonderful organisation.
Thank you to Figtree High School for allowing us to use their facilities.

Last week was Gifted Awareness Week, celebrating the Varied Voices of gifted students, especially those who may present in unexpected ways. Recognising and embracing every student’s unique journey helps create a vibrant and supportive learning community.
Carter, Brianna and Southern-Belle have started attending HPAG Extend classes started this term and have been learning about big ideas like the Big Bang and the expanding universe, electromagnetism and gravity, light diffraction, and advanced their maths skills working with massive numbers, scientific notation, indices, and factors. Creativity has flourished through the design of Rube Goldberg machines and the beginning of an innovation and invention unit, encouraging problem-solving and inventiveness. All in this in just the first 5 days!
Gifted Awareness Week reminds us to support and celebrate the diversity of gifted learners, ensuring each student has the opportunity to shine and learn.
