🎨💧 Calling all young creatives!

The South Gippsland Water National Water Week Poster Competition is now OPEN for 2026.

Our Board members and staff proudly raised the National Water Week poster competition flag at the Leongatha Wastewater Treatment Plant today, where several improvement works are planned to ensure we ‘Make Every Drop Count’.

This year’s theme, “Water Heroes: Make Every Drop Count,” invites students to explore how we can all help protect our most precious resource.

Open to students from early learning through to Year 8, this is your chance to get creative and make a difference.

We’re disappointed to report that one of our water trailers, which was left at a remote site during the Inverloch Running Festival over the weekend in , has been damaged.

This is extremely disheartening, especially when we are simply trying to provide a free resource to support a great community event.

In all our time supplying water trailers, this is the first instance of damage we’ve ever experienced.

We kindly ask our community to respect these shared resources so we can continue offering them for events like this.

Let’s work together to look after the equipment that supports our community💧.
