Gotta be in it to win it! 👀
We’re building a mood board, with a twist 👀 and we need your help!
Frankston City Council is undertaking community engagement to inform its next Youth Action Plan, and we want to tap into the photography talents of our younger community members.
‘𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐬’ is a youth photography project that invites young people aged 12–24 to take photos of places, spaces and things that represent their experience of Frankston City.
If you’re in that age bracket, Council wants to know what matters most to you. Please include in your photo:
❤️ What you love about Frankston City – your favourite walking trail, coffee shop or park
👐 What young people need more of – open spaces, service providers, public transport options
🤝 Things that would make life better for young people in Frankston – accessibility or safety features, practical classes or smoothie bars!?
The best photo will be judged on creativity and how clearly it meets the objective.
The winner of our ‘𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐬’ competition will claim a digital camera 😎
However, you don’t need a professional camera for this competition; we want your photos to be real and authentic, not perfection.
This project is about making sure young people are heard in a way that feels creative, simple and meaningful, and your photo will help shape future youth spaces, activities, safety improvements and support services across Frankston.
