Freemans Reach Rural Fire Brigade

Freemans Reach Rural Fire Brigade The Brigade is part of the Hawkesbury District of the NSW Rural Fire Service.

Officially formed in 1951, and for over 60 years since then, volunteer members of the Freemans Reach Rural Fire Brigade have dedicated themselves to the safety, prevention and protection of the Freemans Reach community and its surrounds. Made up of dedicated members from our community, the Freemans Reach Rural Fire Brigade assists residents during times of emergencies, particularly bush and grass

fires. On average, the Brigade can attend between 30 to 50 fire calls per year, including structural fires, motor vehicle accidents and smaller backyard fires. Of course, we also assist other services where required, including storm damage and flood operations. Freemans Reach Rural Fire Brigade is involved in numerous community activities including school and church fetes, various fundraising activities and RFS Get Ready Weekend campaigns.
