COMMUNITY FUNDING FORUM
Not-for-profit community groups are warmly invited to an information session on Council’s framework process for Capital Project Funding and an update on the Community Assistance Fund (CAF).

The session will include an individual opportunity to discuss your proposed community projects with Council officers.

When: 6pm - 7:30pm Tuesday 28 July 2026
Where: Koroit Theatre, Commercial Street, Koroit

CAF funding categories in 2026/27 now include projects under $4000 that require no applicant contribution, or projects $4001 and over that require a $1:$1 contribution for projects that improve facilities, strengthen volunteer organisations, provide much needed equipment, and youth-led initiatives.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT SCHOLARSHIPS
We are inviting students currently enrolled in their first year of full-time study at a tertiary institution in 2026 to apply for scholarship funds.

The funds are awarded on an annual basis to assist students with tertiary study costs for the year in which the award is made. The selection panel retains the right to award any number of scholarships from the $15,000 allocated funds.

The scholarship program has supported 83 local students over the last 28 years with their tertiary education costs.

Applications can be made in written format or as an audio or video recording. Note applications close at 4pm on 1 May 2026.
