Vote 1 Sarah Hathway! For Community Need not War & Greed 🩷

So here is our how to vote card for Corio Division. The why and the how are linked.

Socialist Alliance does not do deals or “horse trade” preferences. We look at the policy platform of other parties and candidates and preference on a principled basis left to right on how their policies align with our own or not.

In that regard I think our order is fairly self explanatory. The independent John De Lorenzo is affiliated with an organisation called Democracy First which in its platform is anti-union and anti-immigration. For this reason we preferenced them after Labor (yes Labor has been pretty anti-worker and anti-immigration at times too).

If you have any questions about how these preferences were decided or why this order please reach out.

Socialist Alliance in Victoria are supporting the Victorian Socialists Senate campaign, and we’re encouraging a first preference vote for Victorian Socialists in the Senate.

Our how to vote is a recommendation only. The only person who determines your preferences is you based on the order of numbers you put in the boxes.

Remember, you can’t waste your vote. To maximise your protest vote, Vote [1] Socialist Alliance.

Authorised by T Gooden, 127 Myers Street, Geelong.

This is what happens when you elect a conservative Back to Basics council. City of Greater Geelong should be ashamed of throwing our community's aged people onto the scrap heap.

In the cost of living crisis hundereds of good quailty jobs are going to be lost! Workers and the aged deserve better.

Privatision always leads to poor quality, unaffordable and lack of access to services.

What a disgraceful act taken against the cities vulnerable. Nothing is off the table with this council. Keep your eye out for the upcoming budget with more atrocities to come no doubt!

Hundreds of jobs are on the chopping block as Geelong council prepares to cease providing in-home aged care services, a move unions and local MPs say will not only impact vulnerable clients, but thousands of families across the region.

❤️GEELONG/DJILANG SHE MATTERS - STOP KILLING WOMEN RALLY - 10.30am SATURDAY, MARCH 15❤️

The She Matters Stop Killing Women rally has been confirmed for Geelong/Djilang. Thank you to for continuing to do the hard work on top of organizing this national protest.

This rally is one of many being held across the country on Saturday, March 15.

The rallies will bring attention to Australia’s femicide epidemic, while calling for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton and Vic Premier Jacinta Allan to roll out meaningful budgetary measures, policy, legal changes and action to end violence against women in our country.

Each rally will commemorate the 112 women killed since January 1, 2024.

As I write, 11 women have been killed this year and 101 women were lost last year.

❤️WHEN: 10.30am, MARCH 15, 2025
❤️WHERE: Market Square Mall, Lt Malop St Geelong
❤️BRING: Protest placards and signs

This national protest will put pressure on every political party and candidate as we head into this year’s election.

We need to end domestic violence, stranger violence, associate violence, femicide, murder, sexual assault, sexual harassment and misogyny.

The rallies are organised and funded by Australian Femicide Watch and The RED HEART Campaign. They are community driven and coordinated and staffed by an incredible group of women who are giving their time freely.
