The agenda and information regarding Belmont Toy Library’s AGM has been emailed to members. All members are welcome to attend. The same evening, we will also be holding our Special General Meeting where we will vote on the merger of Belmont Toy Library with Grovedale Toy Library and Geelong West Toy Library as previously outlined to members.
We look forward to seeing all members who can attend.

A heads ups to our community members! 💚

AusAlert will be tested in selected communities across Australia in June 2026.
A test alert will be sent to all mobile devices in the selected testing area at the time of the test. If you are in the test area with a compatible mobile device you may receive the alert.
Devices may vibrate and play a siren-like warning sound for about 10 seconds.
An AusAlert message may appear on device screens. It will clearly say it is a test.

During borrowing sessions at BTL you will now see committee members wearing a “Can I help you?” sunflower lanyard.

We’re committed to making our space more inclusive, and the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program helps raise awareness of non-visible disabilities and lets families know that support is available when they see the sunflower symbol.
We recommend checking out to learn more.

Sunflower lanyards are available for members who wish to wear one during borrowing sessions as a sign that the wearer has a hidden disability and may need additional support. Last weekend we put these just outside the external door.

For our volunteers on duty - if you would like to be involved let the committee member know, and they can provide a ‘can I help you?’ lanyard for you to wear

It’s National Volunteer Week, and we want to take the opportunity to thank our members 💚

BTL runs because of volunteers who show up every week to sort toys, welcome families, and engage in their community.

This year’s theme is “Your Year to Volunteer”.. if you’ve been thinking about getting involved, this is your sign, we have spaces on our committee for those wanted to become more involved in BTL
