Cooby View Farm Stay Horse experiences & Agistment

The moment you go to the trouble of putting Eddie’s winter rugs on nice and neat and he immediately decides to roll. Lucky it’s a good quality rug and it was sitting perfect on him when he had finished. He will thank me tonight as the temps have dropped and it’s super chilly winter weather here atm.

Saturday morning we were blessed with baby spice’s arrival to the world. It has been a busy couple of days as baby spice is having problems sucking cinnamon’s teats and it’s been all hands on deck to help co parent from the tribe at Cooby View. Saturday we had to milk cinnamon and give baby spice small bottle feeds during the day so she got her colostrum from mum. Now we are having to hold cinnamon and put baby on the teat and top up with mums milk by bottle when needed. Early days but doing our best to make sure we have a healthy little lamb. Praying that she works out feeding soon. 🙏🥰🐑

Very lucky this morning horse riding with one of our local koalas. Sebby and his mum making memories sharing the obstacle course with this little guy. It was a very healthy koala too so nice to see 🥰

Marge, 84 years young. Marge shared memories today of her horses, how she rode horses to school and rode on her family farms in rural Queensland. This was a special ride with family and grandchildren to watch a very confident and capable strong country lady strut her stuff. Marge you are a true gem x

What a lovely sight to see the agistment ladies riding together on the trail with their horses. Great afternoon for a ride. Feeling fortunate to have such a great bunch of people who call Cooby View home to their equine companions.
