With the burning period in effect the brigade would like to remind and encourage everyone to register their burns with dfes. You can do this by ringing the following number 08 9395 9209

The City wishes to inform you that the restricted burning period has been reinstated for all areas that were in the open‑burning period. This will apply for two weeks from 24 March.

This change has been made due to weather patterns associated with Cyclone Narelle, which may influence local conditions.

During this time, burning is only permitted with a valid permit, and permits may be suspended depending on weather conditions.

The City apologises for any inconvenience.
