Each ring that you purchase is handcrafted by myself to a high level of craftsmanship using standard ring sizes. As every ring is made using natural wood, every ring becomes one of a kind due to variations in colour and grain pattern. This creates very personal gifts for someone special or even a sneaky present for yourself! A Lot of people have asked me "why did I start making bentwood rings?". I
t was after looking at wooden rings for myself, I had one delivered and after receiving it was quite disappointed in not just the finish but the overall look and price. From there I decided that if I couldn't find a ring that would meet my high standards then I would make one, and after the generous amount of admiration my work received I thought "why can't everyone have the chance to own something so special". So I set off improving my craft so I could offer unique and personal pieces that were beautiful, durable and still affordable. My first rings that I crafted were made from solid pieces of wood using locally sourced material. I quickly found that these were just not durable and hardy enough to stand up to everyday use. So I started using a technique called "bentwood", where thin wood is steamed and "bent" into a ring shape, after a tedious process a durable and hardy finish is applied. This technique makes the rings extremely strong and water resistant to stand up to the demands of your everyday life. If you would love to have your own bentwood ring I do take customer orders, simply send an email and get in touch!
