Special Paint Gin Gin REaD Book Week Display announcements!!
Thank you to Maree from Gin Gin Bakery for drawing the winners of the book prizes. Winners of the three different age categories have been notified. Each winner receives three books, provided by the Early Years Network and Bundaberg Regional Libraries, and a Dymocks gift voucher, donated by Emma’s Place.
The favourite display voted by the children is …… Gin Gin Kindy! Gin Gin Kindy will be awarded with the perpetual trophy which they can proudly display until next year’s Book Week.
Congratulations to all the winners!!
A big thank you goes to the prize donors, the businesses and community groups that created displays and the families for visiting the displays with their children. Paint Gin Gin REaD Book Week Displays support literacy in our community and raises awareness of the importance of it in a fun way.

This week at Early Years Playgroup, we had some dress up to celebrate Book Week. There were also lots of learning experiences that encouraged strong parent-child engagement, supporting families to learn, play, and achieve positive outcomes together. These activities provided opportunities create some very special gifts for upcoming Father’s Day.

Do you love to read or need some inspiration to read more? Meet up with other book lovers at Gin Gin Library’s Book Club and try some new authors. 📖 Hosted on the last Monday of each month at 12.30pm. If you are interested in joining, join us this Monday coming! ☺️

What a massive Paint Gin Gin REaD Book Week!! Thank you to all the businesses and community groups for the amazing effort of creating Paint Gin Gin REaD Book Week displays! Families have had fun visiting all the displays and seeing the books come to life. Make sure your children place their entries at Gin Gin Community Hub by 31 August.
