FIREFIGHTING WATER SUPPLY 💦🔥

It is probably the last thing on your mind whilst it is raining (and hailing) today, but there is no better time to prepare for Spring and the onset of the fire season.

If you have existing water tanks on your property or thinking of investing in them for firefighting or domestic supply, we strongly recommend that you fit a 2-inch male camlock which is the standard to allow quick access for our firefighters in an emergency.

For those that are not aware. Salvos Big Ben Boekholt, a dedicated member of the community, lost his family’s farm in recent fires, and now he’s trying to rebuild.
Ben is often seen working in the Salvos food truck at all hours of day and night making sure firefighters are well-fed.

Total Fire BAN (TFB) has been declared for Saturday 13 December.

A Harvest Vehicle Movement Ban (HVMB) has been declared from 9am to 6pm on Saturday 13 December.
