Year 6 students welcomed Cr Karen Davis from the Gladstone Regional Council last Thursday to talk to them about local issues affecting the Great Barrier Reef.

The students learnt that there is a project being organised by CMERC to help with the rejuvenation of sea grass beds and habitats to increase food sources for dugongs and green sea turtles found within the area.

Students also enjoyed asking Cr Davis many questions about her role within the council and what is being done to address various environmental concerns.

Year 6 would like to thank Cr Davis for her time spent with the students this afternoon, educating them more about looking after the environment.

What a fabulous morning we had at our Book Week Prep Transition last Friday!

Our future 2027 Preppies had a wonderful time joining in the fun, exploring our Prep spaces and getting another little taste of what school life at Clinton is all about.

There were plenty of smiles, excitement and happy little faces — and we absolutely loved having our future Clinton superstars back with us! 🐸

We can’t wait to see you all again soon!
