🗓12 June is 'International Day of Botanic Garden Education'
🌿The day has been newly dedicated to climate action, biodiversity conservation and building a sustainable future through education in botanic gardens.

'Botanic Gardens Conservation International' is calling for solidarity on 12 June to address the climate and biodiversity crises, using the day as a symbol of our shared commitment to overcoming these urgent challenges.

Botanic gardens have long served as vital spaces for conserving nature and plant diversity, fostering an appreciation of the natural world, and connecting people with nature.

🌏Today is World Environment Day, Friday 5 June
The 2026 campaign is themed around 'Climate Action', raising awareness and the call-to-action to speed up the transition to green energy, implement sustainability measures, and address the accelerating impacts of climate change.

♻At Ecofest on Sunday we will be hosting six 'Tondoon Talks', half-hour informative sessions. Four of the talks will help you take sustainable measures at home to grow your food and make the most of your new GO Bin. We'd love to see you at these sessions, meet us in the courtyard and be in the draw to win some great prizes!
