We are pleased to reintroduce Morning Tea with the Principal beginning next Monday, 7 September, following parade.

Join Mr Moore in the staff room for a cup of tea or coffee, a sweet treat, and an opportunity to connect and chat in a relaxed setting.

This will be held on the first Monday of every month.

Last week we acknowledged Science Week and as a part of this inquiry into biological sciences we began out plant challenge.

Each student/class has been provided seeds, potting mix and seed trays and will now be tasked with supporting the growth of their plants. Our students will be delving deeper into how to promote the growth of seedlings.

We have also had donated a native tree per class, which our classes will also care for and then plant into our school.

All of these trees being native and some endangered/vulnerable species.

2A have been putting on their scientist hats again! 🧑‍🔬 This week, they explored how changing the shape of paper can affect how much weight it can hold. After making their predictions, students folded and concertinaed their paper before putting it to the test! There were lots of “I knew it!” moments, a few surprises and plenty of excitement as they discovered which shape could hold the most weight. Who knew a simple piece of paper could be so strong? 💪

Father's Day Stall will be held next Wednesday 2nd September. You can prepay via our QKR app (This will close at 6pm on Tuesday 1st September) or you can bring money in a Ziplock bag with your child's name clearly labeled.
