Congratulations again to Molly Ewer of year 12. This week she competed at NSW All Schools Football Tournament between the Combined High Schools, Independant and Catholic Schools teams. The NSW CHS team won the gold medal and Molly was chosen to represent NSW All Schools at Nationals early next term in Melbourne. Molly we are beyond proud of you and wish you the very best of luck in Melbourne.

Our Special Education Dance Ensemble students had an incredible week performing at the Synergy Dance Festival! 💙💃

Throughout the week, our students showcased their talent, dedication, and passion for dance. It was wonderful to see them shine on stage and celebrate the power of inclusion, creativity, and teamwork.

We are so proud of each and every student for their commitment and enthusiasm, both in rehearsals and on stage. A huge thank you to our staff, families, and everyone who supported our ensemble throughout this amazing journey.

A huge shout‑out to Alexis , who has been part of the Girls Basketball team since starting in Year 7. She has played in countless tough games — wins and losses — and has always shown resilience, grit, and a determination to fight until the final whistle.
A few years ago, Alexis was a member of the team that finished second in the NSW Combined High Schools State Championship, before going on to compete at the National Championship on the Gold Coast — a tremendous achievement.
We thank Alexis for her six years of dedication, commitment, and leadership on the court.

Our Year 10 WSU Fast Forward students returned to WSU Kingswood Campus last week for their second University Day. Students did GPHS proud by engaging in all activities with vigour! They toured the grounds, chatted with current university students and staff, and joined in mini lectures and tutorials on psychology, justice, engineering, marketing and other interesting subjects. One of the highlights was the Computer Science session where students got to interact with an AI robot.
