Our Story

The Glenorchy Youth Task Force (GYTF) was established as a Special Committee of Glenorchy City Council in 1993, and has operated continuously since then. The GYTF became an autonomous group of Council in 2019. We are a group of young people aged 12 to 25 who have a passion for youth issues and a desire to make a difference within our community. We plan and organise events such as RUOK Day, Gig in the Gardens, Youth Week Tasmania and lots more. We also use this page to promote everything that happens for young people in Glenorchy and the surrounds.
