🌈💥 LET'S SMASH RECORDS, GLENVIEW! 💥🌈

Our 2026 Colour Run Fundraiser is underway, and we're aiming high with a goal of $18,000 to support upgrades to our rainforest area! 🌿💚

There are plenty of exciting weekly prizes up for grabs, including: 🍦 Ice Pole Party for the class with the most profiles
💚 Chances to slime a teacher when you reach fundraising milestones
👕 Free Dress Day for the class that raises the most funds
👑 And the student who raises the most money will get the ultimate prize... the chance to slime Mr Montgomery! 🤣

This LEGO SPIKE Prime Beginner Workshop is the perfect opportunity for students aged 8–14 to dive into the exciting world of robotics and coding these school holidays! 🧱💻

📅 Thursday 24 & Friday 25 September
⏰ 9:00am–12:00pm each day
📍 Peregian Digital Hub
🎟️ $85 per student – includes BOTH days!

Students will get hands-on designing, building and programming their own LEGO SPIKE Prime robots, while taking on fun challenges and developing their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills along the way.

🌟 Whether your child is already interested in coding or keen to discover what robotics is all about, this is a fantastic chance to learn, create, experiment and have fun!

🌟 What's On at Glenview - Week 8 🌟

What a fantastic way to finish last week! It was wonderful to see our students and staff embrace the magic of Book Week, with so many creative costumes, engaging activities and a shared love of reading on display across the school. Thank you to everyone who helped make the celebrations so special. 📚✨

We have another busy and exciting week ahead at Glenview, from Reading Wizards to Craft with Chappy Jess, and our annual Father's Day Stall, 1C & 2E look forward to welcoming special visitors for their Father's Day Afternoon on Thursday.

🎯 Focus of the Week: We set learning goals and work towards achieving them.

📅 Reminder: Friday 4 September is a Pupil Free Day.

🌈 Colour Run 2026: Have you created your child's Colour Run profile yet? The fundraiser launched last week and the excitement is building! Every dollar raised will support our rainforest upgrade project. The class with the most student profiles created by Tuesday, will enjoy an icy pole party, so jump online, create your child's profile and help your class race to the top of the leaderboard! Winner announced on parade.

📚 Book Week is here, with our Book Week Parade on Friday at 9am — we can’t wait to see everyone’s wonderful costumes! Check out Mrs O'Toole's Book Week Activities too, there's plenty to do! 📖✨

🎶 There’s plenty happening across the school this week, including Concert Band, Reading Wizards, Auskick, Little Explorers, Active Wednesdays, Senior Choir, Rock Band, Chess Club, Robotics and more!
