💙 JERSEY DAY 2026 💙

This week, Glenwood High School proudly came together to recognise Jersey Day 2026, raising awareness of the life-changing importance of organ and tissue donation.

On Wednesday, we welcomed Richard Gremmo, uncle of Nathan Gremmo, whose legacy inspired the Jersey Day Foundation. Richard shared Nathan’s story and the powerful impact organ donation can have on individuals and families.

We also heard from our Business Manager, Ms Burns, who shared her personal experience of donating a kidney to her son - bringing this important message even closer to home.

Today, our students proudly wore their favourite jerseys to show their support and help start important conversations about organ and tissue donation.

A meaningful week for our Glenwood community, reminding us that conversations can help save lives.

Glenwood Goss presents GHS visits Parklea PS!

Our Glenwood High School Prefects recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit Parklea Public School, where they spent time connecting with students, sharing their leadership experiences and, most importantly, having plenty of fun!

It was a fantastic opportunity for our Prefects to build connections with younger students in our local community and put their leadership skills into action.

A big thank you to Parklea Public School for welcoming us💙

💙 School Support Recognition Week 2026 💙

This week we recognise and celebrate the wonderful school support staff who contribute so much to Glenwood High School every single day.

Our school support staff are at the heart of our school. They support our students, assist our teachers, welcome and connect with families, solve problems, keep our school running and somehow manage to know where everything is when the rest of us don’t!

Much of their work happens quietly and behind the scenes, but its impact is felt across every part of school life.

They are often the first friendly face our families see, the person helping a student through a difficult moment, the extra pair of hands in a classroom, or the person making sure the many moving parts of a school our size keep moving.

To our wonderful support staff, thank you for your care, patience, professionalism and commitment to our students, staff and community.

We see what you do, we value what you do, and Glenwood simply wouldn’t be Glenwood without you. 💙

Happy School Support Recognition Week!

Good morning,

A kind word to someone sitting alone. Sticking up for someone when it would be easier to stay quiet. Checking in on a friend who's gone quiet themselves. Asking for help if you need it.

All of these things require courage from you, and this courage in action can change what happens next.

There is always a way that you can help to make a difference.
