🚫 Total Fire Ban – Monday, 27 October 2025 🚫

A Total Fire Ban will be in effect from midnight tonight for the North Coast, including the Mid Coast and Port Macquarie-Hastings areas.

Hot, dry, and windy conditions are expected, bringing an increased fire danger across the region.

🔥 Know your fire risk and have a plan in place.
🔥 Report any unattended fires immediately to Triple Zero (000).

Tomorrow, Wednesday the 22nd of October, Fire Danger rating for the Mid Coast is 'High'. All Fire Permits are suspended from midnight tonight until midnight Thursday the 23rd of October.

Monday the 6th of October is an Extreme Fire Danger Rating for the Mid Coast District. A total Fire Ban is in effect from midnight tonight. All permits are suspended.

Good afternoon to our wonderful community. Just a friendly reminder that the Bush Fire Danger Period starts on the 1st of October 2025 and permits will be needed to burn from this date. You do not require a permit until this date, however you will still need to notify your neighbours and also notify the Mid Coast Rural Fire Control on 1300 643 262, 24 hours before you plan to burn.

📍Make sure you’ve got enough equipment to control the fire.

🚨 Even in mild conditions, fires can still threaten lives, homes & the environment.
👉 Have a Bush Fire Survival Plan.
👉 Talk with your family about what to do if a fire threatens.
