Daintree Satinash (Syzygium monospermum) at Dubuji boardwalk in the Daintree National Park. The flowers appear on the trunk (cauliflory) and are followed by white or cream fruit which are 3 to 6 cm in diameter. The southern cassowary eats the fruit and flowers. 💚

This cassowary and his two chicks emerged from the Daintree Lowland Rainforest at Cape Tribulation.
