Worm Juice is NOT something you drink lol. Worm Juice (also known as worm tea or worm wee) is the liquid byproduct of a worm farm (more info on worm farms coming later) and is a great fertiliser. It provides billions of good microbes such as fungi, and helpful nitrogen-fixing bacteria for your plants and veggies and the key is the 100,000CFU/ml bacteria plus ready available liquid minerals and trace elements for immediate plant uptake. You don’t see these good microbes in synthetic liquid fertilisers, so nothing beats this recipe from mother nature. Worm Juice is not a NPK fertilizer. Whilst it contains some Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium it's major strength lays in it biological activity and complex range of other nutrients and minerals eg. calcium, iron, zinc, silicon, magnesium, manganese, copper, sodium, potassium, phosphorus and more. Worm Juice is great when growing plants from seed and coats seeds with nitrogen & bacteria, giving the seed a kick-start from the get go. The benefits of using worm juice are:
(a) The major/secondary/and trace elements are immediately available because of their dissolved state, and
(b) The high bacteria count, upon application, immediately inoculates the soil, kick starting microbial activity helping to break down organic matter much quicker.
