Seharum Nusantara Gold Coast Seharum Nusantara Inc. is an Indonesian-Australian community in Gold Coast, QLD. We support multicultural and harmonious Australia through art & culture.

A brief background of Seharum Nusantara. Seharum Nusantara is a non-profit Gold Coast based Indonesian dance group formed in 2009. The four main dancers have danced at several festivals and community events on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Tweed and Sydney. We embrace the introduction, the display of the Indonesian culture through dance performances,organizing annual community events in ali

gn to Indonesian and Australian government's programs and commemoration. In every event Seharum Nusantara is seeking supports and participation from all Indonesian's and Australian multi-cultural groups and individuals mainly in Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW. Through arts and culture we're promoting the harmony among the people and encourage the enthusiasm in aligned to Indonesian cultural heritage here in Australia. The inclusion of the Indonesian Ambassador to Australia and the Consulate General from Sydney gave us much valued support and encouragement. Since 13 December 2013 Seharum Nusantara is an Incorporated organisation. If you would like to learn basic Indonesian dancing or be part of any of the next events, you are most welcome to participate and celebrate with us. Thank you to Seharum Nusantara’s wonderful dance trainer and choreographer for the knowledge, time, patience, and beautiful creations you have shared with us.

Although you will be returning to Indonesia for a while, your inspiration, dedication, and legacy will continue to live on in every step and movement we perform. Distance may separate us, but our love for Indonesian arts and culture will always keep us connected.

Seharum Nusantara will continue to grow and create spectacular dance choreographies, proudly promoting the beauty and richness of Indonesian arts and culture to the wider community.

We wish you a safe journey home and every success in the next chapter of your life.

Hello everyone,

We have finally reached the end of the SN 2025–2026 committee term, which concludes at the end of June each year.

We would like to invite all SN members, both active and inactive, to attend the election of the President, Vice President, and Committee Members for the 2026–2027 term.

For those who would like to join because of their love for Indonesia, you are always welcome.
