We were honoured to host the annual Gold Coast Science and Engineering Challenge, presented by the The University of Newcastle, Australia in partnership with Griffith University Science on the GO and the Rotary Club of Ashmore .
The event brought together 16 schools from across the region for a day of innovation, collaboration and hands-on STEM challenges. Students were immersed in activities that required them to think critically, solve complex problems, apply engineering principles and work effectively as a team.
Our students demonstrated outstanding creativity, resilience and problem-solving skills throughout the competition, showcasing the high standard of STEM learning at ESHS. The excitement of the final bridge testing challenge created a fantastic atmosphere and highlighted the ingenuity and determination of all participants.
Hosting an event of this scale was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our school, our facilities and our commitment to future-focused learning. It was inspiring to see our campus filled with energy, curiosity and enthusiasm as students explored the real-world applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
At Elanora, we believe learning is most powerful when students can apply their knowledge, work collaboratively and see the possibilities for their future.
