Edge, Caloundra SHS Dance Company, is proud to present a free commercial jazz workshop for students in Years 5 and 6 with one of our dance teachers, Billy Barber. Billy brings years of professional dance experience to our Edge program and are excited for him to be able to share some of this experience in this workshop opportunity. The workshop will be run before school in our P Block Dance studio on the 17th of September (Thursday Week 10) from 7:30am to 8:15am. This week, we are honouring our amazing Teacher Aides who contribute so much to Golden Beach State School and the important role they play every single day.💕
We appreciate the patience, kindness, encouragement and dedication to their work, and all the small things you do to support our students' learning, development, and success and providing invaluable support to our students and staff. 💕Whether they are helping students build confidence, supporting learning or simply being there with a smile and a helping hand, the difference they make is immeasurable. Although it frequently takes place behind the scenes, their efforts are undoubtedly appreciated. 💕
Our school is really fortunate to have such a fantastic group of Teacher Aides!

Father’s Day Stall 2026 – New Pre-paid Voucher System

This year, the GBSS P&C is introducing a new pre-paid voucher system for our Father’s Day Stall. This initiative is part of a move towards streamlining the process in future years and helping minimise the risk of students losing physical cash.

How it works:
• Pre-paid vouchers can be purchased through “Qkr!” under the Father’s Day Menu

• Vouchers must be purchased before the day of the Father’s Day Stall; Prepaid vouchers close at 2pm Wednesday 2nd Sep 2026.

• Vouchers are in $5 increments only. Items range from $1 - $10

• Vouchers are non-refundable

• Vouchers can only be used to purchase gifts at the Father’s Day Stall

No change will be given, so the full value of the voucher must be spent at the stall

If you miss the cut-off time for purchasing a pre-paid voucher, cash will still be accepted on the day.
